What to do in the Offseason 101

Well another year is over and it is time to do a seasons wrap up and focus on next year.

Wow what an exciting series the Canadiens and Bruins put together eh.  Really could have bounced our way; just couldnt do it.  Well I understand some Hab fans wont agree but you just cant win them all!  A good effort was put out by all the players; if anything I think the Pacioretty injury shook the young PK Subban the most.  Though he played well; he just wasnt PK that I saw before the hit.  It looked like he was more involved in not getting hit rather than making a play.  Also looked like he was put on a short leash in the O zone.  He would be carrying the puck in like he does then hits the line and as if he remembers he's not allowed to go any further; just half tries to give the puck to the player right beside him who is standing still.  Don't get me wrong, he played very well.

The question that wont be asked this summer is if JM stays as coach.  It is not that he is poison but we lost a good young coach last year, and now its looking like Muller is ready to move into a head coaching position.  Maybe a promotion for JM then move Kirk into the Head Coach.

With only 2 defencemen signed for next year will our blue line look drastically different?  The feeling I have is that if JM does stay as coach it will look the same.....well I mean with a healthy Markov and Gorges.  You can even see Gill or Hamerlik being re-signed.  All the defence should get a pat on the back for this years workload placed upon them.  The only wildcard that could sneak in is the talented Russian Yemelin.  Wow that would be something eh.

Well as a Hab Fan way out west

I would be happy if the team looked like it did this year!

GO HABS GO!!
